Leadership development
Wipfli makes it a priority to enable leadership skills that support associates in growing their careers. Among the leadership trainings are Lead4Success and the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, both of which are highly valued by associates.

Listening to associate perspectives
Once a year, we ask associates to tell us what matters to them and measure where we have opportunities to grow our engagement with them. The results help us to hone our approaches and consider new programs and processes that will improve the associate experience. The most highly rated aspects of our associate survey were:
- Wipfli’s senior leadership values people as its most important resource.
- I receive the training I need to do my job effectively.
- Wipfli supports my health and well-being.
- Wipfli’s benefits meet my needs and the needs of my family.
- I receive regular and helpful feedback from my performance coach.
Supporting associates’ chosen causes
To increase our support for our associates, we expanded the mission of the Wipfli Foundation by adding an associate donation match program that puts an emphasis on making lasting impacts on the communities we live in and serve. Our more than 3,200 associates are encouraged to donate to causes and organizations they believe in.

Our focus on well-being
Knowing that time for rejuvenation is important to overall wellness, our associates can take flexible time off to take time away from work as they deem necessary. Associates also enjoy dedicated well-being days as extensions of regular holiday office closures. In addition, in FY23 we:
- Expanded our health plan coverage to include a travel benefit; fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits; and enhanced gender-affirming care.
- Launched a community for remote associates to connect with the firm’s culture and each other.
- Instituted no-meeting Wednesdays in order to prioritize well-being, increase focus on meaningful work and decrease meeting fatigue.
- Gained traction with our newly introduced Virgin Pulse app that supports associates in their well-being. Within the app, associates can access coaching, nutrition education, mindfulness training, financial planning, fitness courses, family planning, parenting support and so much more with the partners of Virgin Pulse. We’ve expanded app access to our India team. And, for the first time, our associates participated in a firmwide step challenge.
